Thirteen students led by faculty escort Dr. Mahatapa Palit from BMCC experienced India to participate in a 'Social Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies'
Programme at H.R. College. The lectures, visits and workshops rendered a holistic experience of the Indian educational, cultural and social scenario.

Academics were interspersed with visits to Dharavi, NGO Dasra, NGO Pukar, Mani Bhavan, Nehru Centre, Hanging Gardens, places of worship like the Mahalaxmi temple and Haji Ali and other places of interest like Elephanta Caves, the Gateway of India, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya formerly known as the Prince
of Wales Museum and VT station.
The programme included an outstation component to Ahmedabad.
