Global Ventures: Exploring the Landscape of International Trade

August 23, 2024         Attendance: 80+ Students

The BCom Committee of H.R. College organized a seminar featuring Amit Kamboj, Director of Niryat Business and Business Head at Advaeta Global. Kamboj highlighted India's key infrastructure projects such as the Sagar Mala Project and the Bharat Mala Project, and discussed initiatives like the One District, One Product program. The seminar provided insights into India's expanding role in global trade and showcased the country's strategic approach to enhancing its global trade visibility.

The B.Com Committee of H.R. College celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi for the second time, continuing the legacy of our seniors with great enthusiasm, drawing participation from staff, students, and alumni. The two-day event created a vibrant atmosphere, bringing together the entire college community. The festivities included a traditional aarti led by Pooja Ma'am, followed by the distribution of prasad, which added a spiritual touch to the occasion. A community lunch was organized to foster camaraderie, allowing students, staff, and alumni to connect and strengthen bonds.

A key highlight of the event was the donation of essential rations to local NGOs, reinforcing the college's commitment to social welfare and giving back to the community. The event also featured a series of cultural performances, engaging workshops, and interactive sessions, further enriching the celebratory experience.

This year's Ganesh Chaturthi celebration was not only a time for spiritual reflection but also a reminder of the importance of community service, making it an unforgettable occasion for all who participated.

The B.Com Committee, in collaboration with NSDL Bank, organized a seminar followed by a quiz competition aimed at enhancing students' understanding of financial literacy, modern banking systems, and investment strategies. The event attracted over 50 students, fostering an environment of learning and competition.

The seminar and quiz competition successfully enriched the participants’ knowledge of finance and investment. The collaboration with NSDL Bank added immense value, offering practical insights into the financial sector
