BMS Committee

The BMS Committee of HR College is a student body exclusively comprising of the college's BMS students. It aims to push the boundaries of events with creativity and meaningful objective, with a goal to inculcate managerial skills in students and establish a legacy of leading. The committee organises guest lectures, certificate courses and industrial visits, as well as a national level inter-collegiate event named 'Mystique' where several cultural competitions are organised.

Industry experts and alumni of the college's prestigious BMS course will be invited to hold lectures and guide students on their future careers, paving way for bright careers for the students.

WEBINAR ON MASTERING AI

The BMS committee of HR College of Commerce and Economics organized a webinar on "Mastering AI," featuring Dr. Venkataraman as the speaker. He provided a comprehensive overview of artificial intelligence, highlighting its increasing impact across various fields. Dr. Venkataraman shared practical strategies and examples for students to integrate AI into their academic work and future careers. His insights on using AI tools for research and innovative projects resonated with the audience, leaving students with valuable takeaways and a deeper understanding of AI's potential.

3 Day Industrial Visit to Daman Silvassa

The BMS Committee of HR College organized a 3-day industrial visit to Daman and Silvassa for 50 students, where they toured the Millenium Marble Factory and the Parle G Factory. At the Marble Factory, students learned about the entire marble production process, from quarrying to quality control. At the Parle G Factory, they observed the automated biscuit production line, including mixing, baking, packaging, and stringent quality measures. The visit offered valuable industry exposure, insights into manufacturing challenges and innovations, and opportunities for networking, effectively bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world practices.

SEMINAR ON CUSTOMS AND TRADE COMPLIANCE

PERSONAL BRANDING AND LINKEDIN SEMINAR

Think India HRC X BMS Committee, hosted an insightful seminar on Personal Branding and LinkedIn, featuring Mr. Rishabh Singh, a brand strategist and two-time TEDx speaker with a LinkedIn network of 70k+ followers.

During the seminar, he covered crucial topics such as the SWOT analysis of personal branding, how to create a compelling personal brand framework, and strategies for overcoming procrastination. He delved into crafting an impactful personal statement, essential resume words, and explained how to define and articulate your unique personal brand on LinkedIn.
