The Growth, Development and Change Cell hosted "From Stumbles to Speeches," a workshop aimed at overcoming public speaking anxiety. Led by renowned trainer Winnie Chawla, the session covered strategies like the Prep Method, Rule of 11, and Persuasion Techniques. Participants engaged in interactive exercises to improve body language, vocal projection, and overall public speaking skills. The supportive atmosphere allowed for shared experiences and mutual encouragement. By the end, attendees gained confidence in their public speaking abilities. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session and a vote of thanks.

Vocal Tune-Up: Techniques to Enhance Teaching Voice

Faculty members participated in exercises to improve breath control, vocal variety, and projection. The workshop also covered articulation and modulation techniques, helping teachers enhance their lectures. Vaswani and promote the power of forgiveness in personal growth. Dr. Bhagwanti Nanwani, the chief guest, shared profound insights into the art of forgiveness, offering practical strategies to overcome resentment. The event also highlighted the 'Moment of Calm' campaign, focusing on inner peace and emotional resilience. Participants shared their experiences, inspiring others to embrace forgiveness as a path to healing. The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks.

The Art of Videography: From Basic to Brilliance."

The Growth, Development, and Change Cell (GDC) at H.R. College successfully conducted a 30-hour Certificate Course titled "The Art of Videography: From Basic to Brilliance" in September 2024, attended by 25 participants. The course offered a comprehensive curriculum that included foundational skills such as camera operations, shooting techniques, and editing, as well as advanced topics like drone videography and motion graphics. Delivered through a blend of online lectures and hands-on offline sessions, the program received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with participants noting significant improvements in their skills. Upon completion, each participant was awarded a Certificate of Completion, enhancing their professional profiles. The GDC is excited to plan future courses to further develop skills in videography and related fields.

Risk It Right: Mastering the Entrepreneur's Mindset

Led by Mr. Jayesh Matani, CEO of Matani Financial Services, the session *Risk It Right: Mastering the Entrepreneur's Mindset* was held via Zoom with eager participation from students.

Mr. Matani began by highlighting the flow state, explaining how entrepreneurs can use this peak productivity zone to handle challenges with clarity. He emphasised the impact of core beliefs on shaping one’s life and goals, urging participants to maintain laser focus on their objectives without distractions. He recommended keeping a personal book to track goals and visualise success.

Continuous learning was a key theme, with Mr. Matani stressing the importance of reading and skill improvement. He advised aiming for progress over perfection and handling feedback wisely, absorbing what’s useful and discarding negativity.

Networking and building a personal brand were other critical points. He shared a personal story of an aspiring Chartered Accountant in Gujarat, who used discipline and networking to connect with senior equity analysts during the pandemic, producing numerous reports reviewed by experts.

Mr. Matani's session was packed with practical advice for young entrepreneurs, with a strong emphasis on focus, learning, and networking. The session ended with a Q&A session and a formal vote of thanks.
